| MALE OR FEMALE? So many people requests females vs. males that I felt I needed to share this information with you. Shih-Tzu have always been bred to be companions to humans. Unlike many larger breeds, Shih-Tzu's do NOT have sex-linked temperament differences. Males are every bit as affectionate as females. An aggressive Shih-Tzu of either sex is unusual. Overall, if you just want a loving, playful, faithful companion, you can't go wrong with a Shih-Tzu, male or female!! |
